A three-judge panel of the Mississippi Court of Appeals will hear oral arguments on the campus of the University of Southern Mississippi Thursday.
The panel will hear cases at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Thad Cochran Center on the Hattiesburg campus.
The Appeals Court and the Mississippi Supreme Court periodically schedule oral arguments on college campuses, and occasionally at other locations, as a teaching tool for students.
A panel of three Appeals Court judges will answer questions from students after the oral arguments, but will not talk about the cases that were argued.
The panel will hear appeals in cases from Hinds and Washington counties.
