Country Crossing casino owner Ronnie Gilley spent three days testifying for the prosecution as part of his plea deal in the case.
An attorney for indicted casino owner Milton McGregor began questioning Gilley Tuesday morning.
Walter McGowan played a taped phone call where Gilley told his lead lobbyist, Jarrod Massey, that he would give another of his lobbyists, Jennifer Pouncy, a $50,000 bonus if she would perform a sexual act with a legislator whose vote was needed for pro-gambling legislation.
Under cross-examination, Gilley testified the comment was a joke and apologized. Both lobbyists have pleaded guilty and will testify later.
