A program will soon be available in West Alabama that could save your life.

First responders from Cuba, York, and Livingston gathered on the campus of UWA on Thursday evening to learn about the new Yellow Dot program. The free program is sponsored by the Governor's Highway Safety Office and is a cooperative effort among all law enforcement and emergency workers to help those in need when they may not be able to help themselves. The Yellow Dot packet will contain vital medical information and your identity.

You can register for the Yellow Dot program starting on April 2nd. For more information, call the Sumter County Sheriff's Office at 205-652-7984.
