G.I. Jobs magazine has recognized East Central Community College for being military friendly.
ECCC says the publication included it in the top 15 percent of all colleges, universities and trade schools nationwide in providing educational services to military students. The findings were based on a survey of more than 12,000 schools.
"East Central is extremely proud to be included on the list of 2013 Military Friendly Colleges," said Dr. Billy Stewart, ECCC president. "Our college has a strong commitment to our country’s men and women in the military and will continue to provide high-quality programs to assist them in meeting their educational goals."
ECCC staff members Jessica Gibson, coordinator of Veteran’s Affairs and Enrollment Services, and David Case, Dean of Admissions, Records and Research, were presented a plaque signifying the honor.
