Meridian Police are calling for information from witnesses as they continue to look at what led to a fatal wreck.
It happened around 3 PM Wednesday at the intersection of 28th Avenue and 13th Street in Meridian, near Queen City Nursing Home.
Lauderdale County Coroner Clayton Cobler says that the driver was 31 year old Melissa Carr, she was known by some of her family as Melissa Dunnigan.
She and her unborn child were pronounced dead on the scene.
Two of Carr's children were thrown from the vehicle, a two year old girl and four year old boy are both at University Medical Center in Jackson.
Lt. Dean Harper says investigators are examining all the facts surrounding the wreck, but declined to comment any further, saying the department is in the process of interviewing witnesses.
