Meridian, Miss. First Christian Church in Meridian is collecting items to help victims of the Louisville tornado.

The church is focusing on things that you may not think about such as coolers, hygiene products, household items, and baby items such as formula and diapers. Local businesses are partnering with the church to help gather these donations.

"These people are incredibly thankful, when you go through and pass out items," said Bill Woods. "And I hope that as many people that can has an opportunity to play their part."
