Five people were charged this week with trying to smuggle drugs into the East Mississippi Correctional Facility at Lost Gap.
Those facing the charges are:
Angela M. Toaster, 28, Aleta Clayborn, 27, and Lakesha Mosley, 32, all of Jackson; and Samantha Parsons, 21, and Brittany Moore, 21, both of Raymond.
All had been visitors to the facility and were each charged with either possession of drugs or a controlled substance within a correctional facility or conspiracy or both.
