Lauderdale County, Miss. A victim of the Lauderdale County flasher says she was leaving a gas station in Russell on the night of Monday, March 10th when she says a man followed her down the interstate for several miles.
"He's following me very closely and then he pulls up right beside me, runs me off the road a few times," the victim recalls. "I try to go into town, get off on the next nearby exit which is the Causeyville exit, and the man blocks me to where I can't get off."
The victim says she kept going and was able to get off of the interstate at the 22nd Avenue exit in Meridian. However, she says during the course of that, the man got out of his truck and flashed her.
"I was panicking, I didn't know what to do," she remembers. "I mean, at that point and time, you don't know what to do if somebody's following you. You don't know if he has a gun with him."
The chase continued up Highway 145, all the way to Highway 45 before the victim says she was finally able to escape the man. Deputies say they are in the process of investigating several leads when it comes to the suspect's whereabouts.
