Prices at the gas pump in Mississippi continue to fall, according to the most recent surveys.
GasBuddy.com says the average price of a gallon of gas in the state dropped almost three cents last week.
Prices are now about seven cents lower than they were a month ago and about a dime lower than they were last year.
Experts say prices have remained relatively steady nationwide and they expect the trend is likely to continue, for the most part, over the next few weeks.
That average price is the same right now in both Mississippi and Alabama, at $3.51 per gallon. The national average is $3.67.
