Gas Prices Dip in Past Week

Gas prices in Mississippi fell about two cents per gallon over the last seven days

According to GasBuddy.com prices are now down about a half cent from this time last year and are 29 cents lower than they were just a month ago.

Despite the drop, experts say prices are still near a record high for the thanksgiving holiday.

The national average is $3.43 per gallon. In Mississippi, the average is $3.16. It's slightly higher in Alabama at $3.19 a gallon.
