Gas prices in Mississippi and Alabama continue to rise. There was another significant jump over the last week.
GasBuddy.com says prices jumped by about a nickel per gallon over the last seven days.
Prices are about 11 cents higher compared to last month and are 24 cents more than they were this time last year.
Experts say it's likely rising gas prices will last at least another week before they level stabilize.
The average price of a gallon of gas is now up to $3.41 in both Mississippi and Alabama. The national average is $3.68 per gallon.
