A hearing for jailed missionary Candi Dunlap has been postponed. That's according to a Facebook page dedicated to Dunlap and her safe return.
Dunlap, a member of Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church in Meridian, was detained at the airport in Macedonia while planning to fly home from a short-term mission trip to that country.
A judge was expected to issue a ruling in her case Friday.
Officials say Dunlap had antique coins in her possession as souvenirs of the trip. She has been accused of smuggling. The coins were in her carry-on bag.
Friends of Dunlap say she was unaware of their value or that she was breaking the law.
Dunlap's hearing was rescheduled for Oct. 24 at what will be 6 a.m. Central Time.
