Highway Fatals

Three people were killed in separate accidents over the weekend in Leake County, Mississippi. The first happened just before midnight Friday on Highway 35 south. Cedric Green, age 41 from Cleveland, Mississippi was the victim. The second accident happened just after two Sunday morning on Highway 25, two miles south of Highway 35. Harvey Ricks and Jamercus Luckett, both age 23 and from Carthage, were killed in that one vehicle wreck. The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating both accidents.
