Neshoba County, Miss.
Mississippi's newly-crowned Miss Hospitality, Bonnie Blue Dulaney, was promoting her hometown and tourism at the Neshoba County Fair.
Dulaney was on hand as Meridian promoted itself and its relationship with neighbors in Neshoba County.
Dulaney won the title July 26 and she's now an ambassador for the entire state.
"Mississippi's greatest tourism product is our culture. And this right here, the Neshoba County Fair, is our culture. It's things that America loves about us. You know, our food, our heritage, our music. And it draws people in and we have capitalized on that with the Neshoba County Fair. And that's why you have thousands of people come every year."
As Miss Hospitality, Dulaney will travel about 30,000 miles during her year-long reign. During that time, she'll promote tourism and economic development in the state.
For the second year in a row, Miss Hospitality hails from Lauderdale County. Dulaney succeeded Hailey Thomas.
