Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance Hosts Christmas Party

Meridian, Miss. The Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance of Meridian hosted a Christmas party Thursday night at Fitkins Memorial Church of the Nazarene.

The kids ate snacks, were read the Christmas story and received Christmas gifts, including a drawing where the kids would get new bikes that were bought by the pastors. The Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance does this for underprivileged children so they too can celebrate the Christmas season.

"We're here. We seek to do what's good to help our children. It is so important to invest in our kids. This is just one way we can give back to our children. Let them know we believe in them, and to give them a good Christmas," said Reverend Gary Houston of the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance.

The pastors sang Christmas music at the party for everyone in attendance.
