One of the stars of the hit show, Duck Dynasty, says he hopes his new book will clear up some of the misconceptions surrounding his family.
Jase Robertson will sign copies of his book next week in Meridian.
Robertson says he titled the book, Good Call: Reflections on Faith, Family and Hunting.
Robertson says despite the controversy surrounding the show, the experiences bring his family members even closer, and there is a reason they keep doing it.
"What I've learned is there is a lot of people going through a lot of pain and problems. They are laying in the hospital. And when they see our show come on, it's a healthy distraction," said Robertson. "It gives them something to smile about despite what's going on. And so that's why we've stuck to this, and persevered, because it's a great platform for our faith. "
Robertson will be at Meridian's LifeWay Christian Store Wednesday, June 25 at 4 p.m. to sign copies of Good Call.
