Job Fair Draws 300

MSU Meridian and Meridian Community College partnered for their 4th Annual College & Job Fair.

Twenty-eight vendors signed up to showcase opportunities available in the area. Businesses accepted applications and discussed future job openings.

MCC and MSU Meridian also shared what they have to offer in degree programs.

"MSU Meridian and Meridian Community College want to reach out and help those in our area that either need to go back to college or maybe never have attended college or those who are just looking to make a career change or they need a job," said MSU Meridian recruiting coordinator Candy Adams. "So that's what we're trying to do. We're trying to help the people in our area and our community and we're trying to help them get in the workforce."

At least 300 people took advantage of the chance to make contact with interested employers and explore educational opportunities.
