Newscenter 11 congratulates Meridian Community College Terrance D. Johnson.
He's the winner of this year's WTOK-TV broadcast Scholarship. The $1,000 is funded by the station through the MCC Foundation.
Terrance is a Northeast High School graduate who is currently a sophomore in the broadcast technology program at MCC. He's also president of the Student Association of Broadcasters and the College Activity Board.
Terrance plans to pursue a bachelor's degree in media production and start his own production company.
