This weekend, the Kemper County Sheriff's Department is continuing to investigate two rape cases.
In the first, 50-year old Allen Brown is accused of attempting to rape a 79-year old elderly female at her New Hope residence.
In the second case, 46-year old Roosevelt Griffin is charged with sexual battery after his girlfriend called police from her Jerusalem home, saying he was raping his 14-year old daughter there.
Brown is out on a $5,000 dollar bond, while Griffin remains in the Neshoba-Kemper correctional facility on a $25,000 dollar bond.
