Meridian, Miss. Lauderdale County School District administrators took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
Taking the challenge Wednesday afternoon outside the Lauderdale County Courthouse were: Clarkdale principal Cheryl Thomas, Assistant Superintendent Ed Mosley, Superintendent Randy Hodges, Steve Nelson of Northeast and Kevin Cheatham of West Lauderdale.
Hodges said they were happy to do it because raising money to try to find a cure for ALS is such a good cause.
The Ice Bucket Challenge has raised over $100 million and the tally rises daily.
The administrators in turn challenged Sheriff Billy Sollie, Chief Deputy Ward Calhoun, and the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department.
