Quitman, Miss. Four-legged friends shared the spotlight with a group of children in a competition Friday morning.
Clarke County 4-H held its Annual Livestock Show for special needs kids. Not only was this a time for celebration for the winners in each category, but it was also a learning experience for the children.
"It allows them to do something that they don't normally get the chance to do, due to physical disabilities," said Clarke County Extension agent, Christy King. "They get their hands on animals and they get to see that their food doesn't come from the grocery store. "
All the children who participated were awarded trophies by celebrity judge, Newscenter 11's Deana Day.
