If you travel to Jackson, you probably get there by using a car, but this weekend some locals are using wagons to get there.

The Dixie National Wagon Trail Ride is in its 30th year. Riders and a wagon train travel from Lake to Jackson. From children to adults, it's a trip that lasts for roughly a week.

"We enjoy this ride every year and we hope that it doesn't cause any inconvenience for anybody else," Steve Ware of Lake said. "We would ask that every body be respectful of us. Please, no fireworks. Please don't run under the horses. We have a lot of kids and we have a lot of fun. We want to take care of them."

There are 115 horse riders and eleven wagons taking part. Organizers say the group will travel a little over 100 miles.
