A crash involving a log truck late Wednesday afternoon shut down the east bound lanes of Interstate 20/59 in Meridian.
Traffic completely stopped just before 4 p.m. when a log truck traveling on the on-ramp to the interstate in front of Queen City Truck Stop overturned.
The truck spilled its entire load. Then another east bound 18-wheeler with double trailers apparently couldn't stop in time and it hit the spilled logs.
The driver of the log truck received minor injuries.
The accident has caused a backup of traffic.
