Lots of Last Minute Back to School Shopping

As Newscenter 11 toured Bonita Lakes Mall, we noticed that a lot of savings and discounts were posted in the front of the stores like 25 and 50 percent off, just for the families and the kids. We spoke with parents and the kids to get an idea of what they were looking for and if they were ready to start school.

"Well its a little more crowded than I thought it was gonna be, but we found everything we need, and were excited," according to Deanna Kell from Butler, AL. "I think we got everything we need, we are ready to go."

"Well shopping, trying to catch some of the good sales here today," Meridian resident Kimberly Thomas says.

"All the kids need phones and tablits to go back to school, to keep up with their homework and keep up with there friends," AT&T employee Kaci Stephens says.

Bonita Lakes Mall will be open from noon until 6:00 on Sunday.
