Louisville Mobile Hospital

There's some good news emerging in the wake of this week's devastating tornado which swept through the city of Louisville. During the storm the city's hospital suffered major damage. In fact, officials with Winston Medical Center project that it could take up to 18 months to restore the inside of the building. As that company considers its options to reopen, some other medical assistance is being announced.

"We were advised Thursday morning that we are going to have a fully functional hospital operating in Louisville, Mississippi within the next 36 hours. One is being brought in on wheels from South Carolina," says Mississippi Senator Giles Ward who represents District 18.

Until that mobile hospital arrives, temporary medical services will continue to be offered at a mobile unit that's parked in the Walmart parking lot in Louisville.
