Authorities say a Texas man has been arrested in Mississippi related to a shipment of more than 100,000 diet pills from China.

Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics Director Marshall Fisher said the pills contain a substance banned in the United States. He says the substance has been linked to heart attacks and strokes.

Oscar Hugo Onate, 30, of Dallas, faces a charge of possession of sibutramine with the intent to distribute.

Fisher says Onate was arrested at a post office in Vicksburg after MBN intercepted a suspicious package from a China business address.
