A series of public forums are set to discuss the topic of improving public transportation in Meridian.
The Meridian Transit System closed in 2012 due to lack of funding.
But the mayor has made getting some kind of public transportation back up and running one of his top priorities.
The meetings will allow residents to learn about potential options.
The hearings are set for Dec. 10 at Union Station at three separate times:
10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
12:15 p.m. - 1 p.m.
4:30 p.m. - 6 p.m.
