Meridian police arrested a man for illegally carrying a weapon.
39-year-old Mark Ruffin of Lisman, Ala., was charged for being a felon carrying a concealed weapon.
Police say the arrest resulted from a traffic stop.
Ruffin's bond was set at $250,000.
