Meridian police say they are investigating the theft of a customer's phone from a local store.
Officials say it happened about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday when a woman left her phone on a counter by mistake after making a purchase.
Police say they believe two people whose images were recorded by a surveillance camera are responsible for the theft.
