MPD Says Man Robbed in Parking Lot

Meridian police are investigating an armed robbery that happened early Wednesday morning outside a fast food restaurant.

Police say a man was robbed by a man wielding a gun about 3 a.m. in the parking lot of Burger King on North Frontage Road.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing a black hoodie.

Police said they don't believe there's a connection between this robbery and another at a local bar.
