103 Graduate from MSU Meridian

Meridian, Miss. Mississippi State Meridian Campus held its fall commencement Friday at the MSU Riley Center.

The 103 people who completed their programs included those receiving 4-year degrees and graduate students. The university also celebrated a graduate from the newest program that it offers.

"We have our first graduate from criminology, our first student who has gotten a bachelor's degree in criminology, one of our newest programs," said dean Dr. Steven Brown. "We're thrilled to be able to have her graduate today."

The commencement speaker was Rebecca Combs Dulaney, the CEO of the Phil Hardin Foundation, which provides funding for the improvement of education for all Mississippians.
