Meridian, Mississippi MSU Meridian hosted its second transfer workshop of the summer Tuesday evening.
The workshop offers a chance for students who may be wanting to attend the university to get information. Faculty and staff answered questions that any type of prospective students might have in regards to taking classes. Students who had already been admitted were able to register for classes at the workshop. One program students could get info on was the new kinesiology program at MSU Meridian.
"I think we have a large interest group for rehabilitation and therapy which is what our program is really geared to," said Laura Hilton.
"It will help me because it's closer to my home, and physical therapy is always something I've wanted to do and that's what I'm working towards. I'm so glad that they've brought it here instead of me having to go all the way to Starkville," said Meghan McPherson from Union.
The next transfer workshop will take place on August 14th. Fall classes begin at MSU Meridian on August 18th.
