A member of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians, Brandon Farmer, 20, has pleaded guilty to sexual abuse of a minor under the age of 12. The offense occurred on tribal lands and is being prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney's Office.
Farmer will be sentenced July 31. He faces a maximum sentence of life in prison and a $250,000.00 fine.
The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Choctaw Police Department.
