Estanislao Pulido, 48, a citizen of Mexico, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court Monday to making false statements in an application for a United States passport.
Pulido admitted falsifying his name, his citizenship and Social Security number May 29, 2009, in Jackson County.
Pulido will be sentenced by Senior U.S. District Judge Walter J. Gex, III, Jan. 7, 2013, at 10:15 a.m.
He faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
