A well-known downtown Meridian establishment is reopening after getting a major facelift.
Sam's Fashion held a grand reopening Monday afternoon.
The store is run by the Dabit family who immigrated here from Palestine over 40 years ago.
The family showcased the store's new arrivals, along with the new interior of the building.
The Dabits also discussed plans for an exterior renovation and development of upper floor apartments in the property.
"We have to start picking up better merchandising," said owner, Sam Dabit. "And with so much going on downtown now with the Riley Center and Mississippi State University, that we start getting some new customers and that's how we try to get it."
Sam's Fashion is located on the corner of 23rd Avenue and 5th Street in downtown Meridian.
