Meridian, Miss. A Mississippi author made a stop in the Queen City Saturday to take part in a book signing.
The Bible Book Store on 23rd Avenue in Downtown Meridian was host to Merle Temple, as he signed copies of his book "A Ghostly Shade of Pale". Temple says the book is a work of fiction, but is loosely based on his life. He says the book, which is the first of a trilogy, has an underlying message that he hopes many see.
"One of the messages I think that will run through all three of these books is, all that's necessary to perhaps lose yourself in this temporal world is to turn around once with your eyes closed" said Temple. "It is a treacherous dangerous world at times."
Criminal Minds producer Jim Clemente is currently writing the screenplay for Temple's novel.
