A local church hosted a car and bike show on Saturday with a special mission in mind.

Cornerstone United Methodist Church in Meridian hosted the "Swagged Out" car and bike show as part of an outreach to young people in the community. Members of the "Unknown Riders" motorcycle group came out to support the church. Organizers say they just want to do what they can to make a difference.

"Well, we stand for the community, according to John Nelson with "Unknown Riders." "Basically, we try to what we can for the kids. Try to keep them doing positive things in their community. Trying to be a role model for the kids. Try to do as much as we possibly can for the kids to give them somebody to look up to."

The event was open to the public.
