Friday night's Sucarnochee Revue at Meridian's Temple Theater featured some Meridian natives who are now making music in Nashville.

Meridian's own Sarah Margaret Huff was one of the performers. Huff has a new CD out called "A Million Little Flames." She now resides in Nashville, Tennessee, but still calls Meridian home and is excited to be here.

"It's good, its always good to come back to Meridian," Huff said. "I've kind of grew up on the Temple stage, so it's a nice place to return too. All of my family lives here pretty much, so I love to come home every once in a while just to remember where I'm from and see all my friends and all my family that are still here. Meridian has a great foundation for people who wants to start music or interested and there are a lot of people to learn from here. "

There were several more performers Friday night, including the Alex Michael Band led by Alex Michael Goldman of Meridian. The band also has a new CD, self-titled "The Alex Michael Band."
