Meridian Public Schools Honors Retiring Employees

Meridian, Mississippi The Meridian Public School District celebrated its retiring employees Tuesday.

Twenty-six employees are retiring from the school system. Ten employees came out to be honored Tuesday. They average over 32 years of experience working for the school district.

"The contributions they have made to our community, to our children just goes without saying," said Superintendent Dr. Alvin Taylor. "And so, we are happy to be able to have this time to celebrate their accomplishments and their service."

Superintendent Taylor says you can not measure the impact the employees have had on generations of students in Meridian Public Schools.
