Meridian Symphony Chorus Sings Again

Meridian, Mississippi One Meridian group that has not been active for a few years is being revived.

The Meridian Symphony Chorus is already practicing for its Christmas concert. They will perform for the first time at the Peppermint Pops concert in conjunction with the Meridian Symphony Orchestra on December 6th. The chorus is open to anyone who has a love to sing.

"It's open to anyone who has a love of singing and a willingness to learn. We come together to work, it's exciting, it's fun to sing together and study this great music," said Matt McMurrin, co-director of the Meridian Symphony Chorus.

The chorus rehearses every Tuesday from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Meridian.
