Meridian, Miss. A Meridian teenager has now been charged as an adult in a recent shooting, a week after the shooting happened.15 year old Jerry Williams was charged with shooting into a dwelling, in connection with a incident where a home was shot into on Davis Street December 23rd. Police say he was originally charged that day as a juvenile, but due to the nature of the crime, his case was transferred from youth court to circuit court earlier this week. Lt. John Griffith explains how the investigation started, "Officers responded to the 3100 block of Davis street for shots being fired into a residence there. Within a couple of hours officers arrested juvenile Jerry Williams, 15 years old." No one was injured in the shooting.
