All of Mississippi's congressional incumbents have raised more campaign cash than their challengers.
The Federal Election Commission website shows that Democratic Rep. Bennie Thompson is the only member of the Mississippi delegation who has received most of his campaign contributions from political action committees rather than from individual donors.
Of the roughly $1.1 million Thompson has raised this election cycle, he collected nearly $824,000, or 74 percent, from PACs. He represents the Delta's 2nd District.
Republican Sen. Roger Wicker and all three Republicans in the House delegation, Alan Nunnelee in the northern 1st District, Gregg Harper in the central 3rd District and Steven Palazzo in the southern 4th District, received more from individual donors than from PACs.
The election is Nov. 6.
