Bryant Signs Dairy Show Law Update

You wouldn't think a law would be necessary to govern dairy shows. But Mississippi already had one and it was updated this week.

A new Mississippi law specifies that an annual dairy show will be held in Lamar County rather than Marion County.

Gov. Phil Bryant signed House Bill 64 this week and it became law immediately.

The Mississippi Code already specified that dairy shows will be held each fall in Lee County, Newton County and Walthall County. The law also says a dairy show will be held each summer in Neshoba County.

The law specifies that "any person in the state is entitled to participate in any of the dairy shows."
Someone should warn the cows.
