Miss Mississippi Preliminaries

The first round of competition at the 2012 Miss Mississippi Pageant has been completed in Vicksburg.

At the Vicksburg Convention Center Wednesday night, Miss Central Mississippi Breanne Ponder won the swimwear competition and Miss Mississippi State University Stephanie Stanford won the talent
competition.

The new Miss Mississippi will be crowned Saturday.
