Linda Gale Reed, a Copiah County woman last seen on April 29, is now wanted for embezzlement of $20,000 from her employer.

Sheriff Harold Jones says the 65-year-old Reed had "sole control" of the petty cash fund at Moore's Fabrications.

Jones says the missing money was discovered by an accountant hired by the company to audit their books after Reed went missing. The sheriff would not speculate as to where Reed might be.

Reed's vehicle was found on a logging road south of Crystal Springs Apr. 30, 2012. Inside the vehicle investigators found her purse, money, glasses and cellphone.

Reed lived in Carrollton, Miss., but during the week worked and stayed in a mobile home on her employer's property.
Reed is a native of Neshoba County.
