Motorcyclist Dies in Wreck

A Kansas man died Monday in a motorcycle crash in Lauderdale County.

The wreck happened about 11:30 a.m. on Highway 19 North, about a mile north of Wal-Mart.

The fatality was identified as 62-year-old James B. Wilson of Liberal, Kansas. he was riding a 2007 Harley Davidson.

Coroner Clayton Cobler says a car slowed in front of Wilson in a construction zone, and the rider went on his side to try to avoid the collision.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating.
