Meridian police have arrested a local woman and charged her in an assault that happened more than year ago.
29-year-old Ursula Renee Naylor was charged with aggravated assault related to an incident in July 2011 at Eastern Gardens.
Officials say Naylor participated, with other people, in the beating of a victim.
Naylor was arrested on a capias warrant after failing to show up for a court hearing. Because of that, her bond was denied.
