Newton County Storm Spotter Class

For those who want to learn more about severe weather, an opportunity to do just that is coming to Newton County.

The National Weather Service in Jackson will host a storm spotter class at the Newton County Courthouse/EOC on 92 East Broad Street in Decatur.

The class is free of charge and open to the public. It takes place Tuesday October 23 and begins at 6:30 PM.
