One Person Robbed at Gunpoint Sunday Night

Meridian Police say one person was robbed at gunpoint on Sunday night.

Police say it happened just after 8:00 in the 5600 block of First Street. Investigators say the suspect, a black male driving a red pick up truck, displayed a black pistol. Police say there was no further description available for the suspect or the getaway vehicle.

Investigators say the suspect was last seen heading towards Highway 19 North after leaving the intersection of 56th Avenue and First Street.
