Paving Begins on 8th Street

The city of Meridian began a long-awaited paving project on Wednesday evening.

Crews began resurfacing 8th Street between 24th and 26th Avenues. The road was closed at 4:00 on Wednesday afternoon so workers could begin the project.

Work is expected to be finished around 7:00 a.m. on Thursday morning.
